CVU staffer earns Honey Bee award

CVU staffer earns Honey Bee award

Terry Gumm, telemetry tech/unit secretary, Cardiovascular Unit, became Blessing Hospital’s 51st Honey Bee award winner during a presentation on December 14, 2022. The Blessing Hospital Honey Bee award recognizes the exceptional service provided by support staff.

Terry was nominated by several fellow employees and a cardiovascular unit patient. The nomination read, in part:

“I truly enjoy every interaction that I encounter with her because she is always available to lend a hand. She can help you with anything you ask, and if she can’t she will find the person that will be able to help.”

“She takes care of us as if we were all her own, making sure that we are getting snacks, and breaks when needed and if there is anything we need to make our day better. I think of Terry as a mom.”

“Very passionate about her work in the unit. She does an amazing job no matter how much of a stressor the situation is.”

“Terry is truly able to touch the lives of each and every individual who she encounters. She has a great personality and is always available. “

Honey Bee award nomination forms are located on all nursing units and other locations throughout Blessing Hospital.
