Due to Quincy University being the host of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Volleyball Tournament, the Hansen – Spear Funeral Home Classic schedule has been adjusted. Originally scheduled for November 18th and 19th, the games have been bumped to the 19th and 20th. The classic will feature the Quincy University Hawks, fellow GLVC member McKendree University Bearcats, the Rogers State (Okla.) Hillcats and the Winona State Warriors.
All games will have live stats and be streamed on the GLVC Sports Network.

Scouting the Hawks
The Hawks, who are led by second year head coach Kaci Bailey are coming into the tournament 0-2, after dropping both games in the Midwest Region Crossover against Ursuline College and Hillsdale College. Beth Matas Martin leads the Hawks in scoring averaging 16.0 points per game. Cymirah Williams leads the team in rebounds with 9 rebounds per game. The Hawks also have three players averaging double digits points per game.
Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats started their year 0-2 as well after dropping two games in Tiffin, Ohio to Purdue Northwest and Tiffin University. In her 8th season at the helm of the Bearcats, Kari Kerkhoff's team is led in both points and rebounds per game by Naomi McDaniel with 9.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game respectively. McKendree is shooting 30% from the field this season.
Scouting the Hillcats
Led by Camp Point, Illinois native, Kyle Bent in his 5th season, the Rogers State Hillcats, out of the MIAA started the 2022-2023 season 0-2. They traveled north to Moorhead, Minnesota for the NSIC/MIAA Crossover and dropped both games to MSU-Moorhead and Northern State. Coming into the tournament the Hillcats are led offensively by Bailey Kliewer averaging 13.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. Rogers State is shooting 29.9% as a team thus far in the season.
Scouting the Warriors
The Winona State Warriors, who are no strangers to Quincy University, as they are 9-1 in 10 games in Pepsi Arena. They started their 2022-23 campaign in Puerto Rico, going 3-0 in their time there. They are led by head coach Ana Wurtz in her first season at the helm. Last year the Warriors went 12-15 with a 9-13 showing in their conference.
