Overview of the Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program
Illinois state law now requires that every employer with five or more Illinois employees, and that has been in business for at least 2 years must offer their own retirement program or facilitate Illinois Secure Choice. In this session, we will provide you with an overview of how the program works and how easy it is for businesses to facilitate retirement savings for their employees. We will cover why Illinois Secure Choice was created, the administrative responsibilities employers have, employer registration deadlines, and the options employees will have.
