Frese named Illinois Chamber of Commerce's 'Champion of Free Enterprise'

State Rep. Randy Frese (R-Paloma) expressed his gratitude for being named the Illinois Chamber of Commerce's "2021-2022 Champion of Free Enterprise."

"I want to thank my friends and colleagues at the Illinois Chamber of Commerce for this gracious recogniton," Frese said in a Thursday Facebook post. "As a small business owner I have known well the level of commitment, perseverance, and hardship our Illinois businesses experience. I also know the joys of growing a strong team, enhancing the economy of our towns, cities, and state, and the support our business communities give to one another."

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce is "a private nonprofit organization supported by member dues, contributions from a diverse group of primarily Illinois-based businesses and revenue generated by offering HR compliance educational seminars and materials," its website said.

First elected to the Illinois House in 2015, Frese's legislative experience includes serving on the following committees: Appropriations-Human Services; Financial Impact; Health Care Licenses; Museums, Arts, & Cultural Enhancements; and Veterans' Affairs; the Illinois General Assembly said. He resides in Adams County.
