Dain Duffy, psychiatric tech II, Adolescent Psychiatric Services, received Blessing Hospital’s 43rd Honey Bee award during a presentation on May 23, 2022. The Blessing Hospital Honey Bee award recognizes the service provided by support staff.
Two of his patients nominated Dain. Here is some of what they had to say: “Dain was giving us a scenario in group about life in general. He shared his own experience, his strength and hope for the future. Dain went above his job description to make all of us in group feel that our feelings were validated. He did not read from a script on paper. Dain truly engaged himself and I am very grateful. He was a light in the darkness.”
Honey Bee award nomination forms are located on all nursing units and other locations throughout Blessing Hospital.
