The Quincy University women's lacrosse team welcomed Culver-Stockton College on Thursday (Mar. 17). The Hawks took over Culver and beat them by a final score of 15-3.
In the first period, the Hawks scored three times with the first two goals being a minute a part. Culver was only allowed to score once to make it 3-1 before the second period.
Quincy came back stronger for the second period scoring six goals to nothing to stretch their lead to 9-1 heading to half time.
With only 45 seconds into the third period, Quincy scored once again but was followed by a quick goal from the draw control by Culver to make it 10-2. The Hawks kept the momentum going and scored four more times, while Culver scored once to make it 14-3 and start the running clock.
The Hawks scored one more time and wrapped the game with a 15-3 victory over the Hawks.
