The Hawks trailed 5-0 before a four run bottom for the fourth made it a one run game, and took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the fifth and held on for a 12-7 win versus Northwest Missouri State on Monday
(Feb 21) afternoon.
Gino D'Alessio scored three runs behind two hits, three walks, and two runs driven in. Zach Parks led Quincy with three hits. Lance Logsdon got on base four times behind one hit and three walks while he scored two runs. DH Austin Simpson led QU with three RBI behind two hits and one run.
The Hawks drew 11 walks while their pitchers didn't surrender any.
Tyler Carpenter worked four scoreless innings out of the bullpen to pick up the victory.
