There was also a significant water leak S. of the old store- it has now been fixed as well.

Nothing new to report, however the board really wants the police to crack down on cleaning up/ mowing properties that are not looking good around town- basically enforcing the ordinances the village has. Roger will bring this up with the police again.

Property ordinance- Barney working on for next month.

Tax Levy- Barney will have this for the board to pass next month as well.

Old Business:

Christmas Tree lighting/community event update- this will be Dec. 5th at 6:00pm. Kyle has planned a tree decorating/ lighting event, OSA is going to provide Hot chocolate and candy canes, the fire dept will bring Santa in on a fire truck, a mailbox for letters to Santa will be set up and many other activities are still being worked out- this will be a great event! The village is also bringing back the Christmas decorating contest- $50 for 1st place or “The Griswold award” and $25 for 2nd place or “The McAllister’s”. A save the date will be posted soon on social media, the village website, etc and then more details to come!

New Business:

John Thomas at 339 Willow st approached Don with a complaint about his neighbors draining their pool every year and flooding his property- there is no ordinance in place regarding this, so not much the village can do.
