Quincy University issued the following announcement on Nov. 16
The Quincy University Music Department will present Gloria! A Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 5, at 3 p.m. at St. Francis Solanus Parish (1721 College Ave.). The concert is free and open to the public.
Under the baton of Kristin Ramseyer, director of choirs and accompanied by Laura Kammerer on the piano and organ, the Quincy University Choirs will sing Gloria, RV 589 by Antonio Vivaldi, and works by Matthew Culloton, the Fleet Foxes, G.F. Handel, Shawn Kirchner and Chrysogonus Waddell. Featured soloists include Lisa Blake, alto, Grace Crowcroft, soprano and Avery Nabholz, soprano.
