Liberty Community Unit School District No. 2 Board of Education met April 26.

The undersigned as President of the Board of Education does hereby call a Special Meeting at the hour of 6:30 p.m., in the Chorus Room of the Liberty School District, 505 North Park Street, Liberty, Illinois, at which time and place the Board of Education will meet in SPECIAL SESSION for the purpose of:
1. Meeting in Open Session to approve minutes for Regular Board Meeting on April 21, 2021.
2. Meeting in Open Session to acknowledge receipt of canvass reports and certification of election from the Canvassing Board of Adams and Pike Counties for the April 6, 2021 election.
3. Meeting in Closed Session to consider the following subjects: a) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the School District; b) collective negotiating matters between the School District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; c) the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the District; d) the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the District; e) the sale or purchase of investments; f) emergency security procedures; g) student disciplinary cases; h) the placement of individual students in special education programs and other matters relating to individual students; i) approval of Closed Session Minutes. for distribution to the public; j) pending, probable or imminent litigation; and k) other matters appropriate for a closed meeting pursuant to the Open Meetings Act.
4. Meeting in Open Session to consider and take action on any matter considered in Closed Session pursuant to paragraph 3 above.
5. Consider and take action on all matters necessary and appropriate to the operation of the School District which may properly be considered and/or acted upon at such Special Meeting in Open or Closed Session.
6. Consider/approve remaining business of old Board (if any)
7. Approve the Minutes of April 26, 2021 Special Meeting, including motion that old Board adjourn sine die, next to be made.
8. Adopt a motion that the old Board adjourn sine die, and new Board convene immediately following such adjournment.
