QUINCY UNIVERSITY: QU Honor Society Names Officers and Inducts New Members

Quincy University issued the following announcement on Mar. 31. 

Quincy University’s Kappa Lambda Rho chapter of Lambda Pi Eta national communication honor society recently named officers and inducted two new members.

Senior Shane Hulsey will serve as president. He will be assisted by seniors Abigail Kohlberg, vice president; Cassie Phillips, secretary; and junior Chloe Nott, treasurer.

New members for 2021 include juniors Sharadyn Janssen of Camp Point, Ill.  and Jay Hammel of Brook, Ind.

Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association. As an accredited member of the Association of College Honor Societies, LPH has over 300 active chapters at colleges and universities worldwide.

Founded in 1860 by Franciscan friars, Quincy University is celebrating 160 years as a small Catholic university emphasizing the sciences, liberal arts and the professions. Quincy University offers undergraduate, graduate and adult education programs integrating practical experience and Franciscan values.
