Quincy Medical Group issued the following announcement on Mar. 25.
Last month, Quincy Medical Group (QMG) announced the newly formed “QMG Kindness Crew.” Each month, a group of QMG employees participates in a project that meets a community need with the purpose of spreading a little kindness in our community.
For February, the QMG Kindness Crew donated and assembled silent auction baskets for the upcoming QMG Foundation Cancer Crush event. The silent auction has long been a part of Cancer Crush, and QMG Community Relations Specialist Morgan Parker said the donations from the QMG Kindness Crew will allow the QMG Foundation to assist local cancer patients.
“All money generated through the silent auction goes directly to support our community’s patients currently undergoing cancer treatment,” she shared. “With the help of the QMG Kindness Crew, we’re able to once again offer a silent auction at Cancer Crush, so we can raise even more support for our patients and alleviate some of their stress.”
The QMG Kindness Crew donated a total of 50 baskets, which include themed baskets for coffee lovers, Easter (for both boys and girls), spa, golf, summer fun, and many more!
The community is invited to participate in the Cancer Crush Silent Auction. Individuals can participate in the auction in person or from the comfort of their homes. Silent Auction baskets will be available to view in person on Friday, April 2, between 2–4 p.m. at The Ambiance, Quincy IL.
The silent auction online platform will go live on Friday, April 2 at 8 a.m. and will close at 9 p.m.
