City of Quincy issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
Due to changing demographics in the city of Quincy, some of the garbage and recycle routes will change. Beginning January 4, 2021 the following garbage and recycle route will change:
The north side of College to the south side of Locust, 24th street to 30th street will move from Monday’s route to Thursday’s route.
The south side of College to the north side of State, 24th street to 30th street and the north side of State to Maine, 30th street to 36th street will move from Monday’s route to Tuesday’s route.
The north side of State to Broadway, 36th street to 48th street will move from Friday’s route to Monday’s route.
