Adams County Board Transportation Committee Met September 15

Adams County Board Transportation Committee met Sept. 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The Adams County Board Transportation Committee held the regularly scheduled meeting in the County Board Room at 507 Vermont Street, Quincy, Illinois, on September 15, 2020.

The following members were present:

Les Post

John Brady

Marvin Kerkhoff

Dave Bellis

Joe Zanger

Others present:

Kent Snider

Gary Farha

Sue Hester

Jim Frankenhoff

Steve DeMoss

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mr. Post.

Mr. Brady made a motion to approve the August 11, 2020 meeting minutes. Mr. Kerkhoff seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.

The committee reviewed the bills and stamped as checked.

Mrs. Hester provided a report on the activities of the IT department.

Mr. Frankenhoff provided an update on the resolutions brought to the committee and updated the committee on projects around the County.

Mr. Simon presented to the committee a project that he and the Health Department are working on to build on an addition to the back side of the west storage building at the highway department that will be used for storing COVID supplies and additional PPE. Mr. Bellis made a motion to approve building of a 30x150 building for additional storage. Mr. Kerkhoff seconded the motion. The motion carries. Mr. Bellis made a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Mr. Zanger seconded the motion. Mr. Post adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p.m.
