Quincy Public Library Board of Trustees met July 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The annual organizational meeting of the Quincy Public Library Board of Trustees was called to order at 6:00 p.m. with Lynn Niewohner presiding. Trustees present: Kathy Citro, Dwain Preston, Pam Rein, Chris Pratt, Judy Crocker, Cheryl Predmore, and Angela Ketteman. Also present: Kathleen Helsabeck, Kim Akers, Burgundy Hill, Bobbi Mock, Malinda Vogel – TQ Liaison, and Charles Hall – TAB Liaison.

Kathy Citro announced that the Nominating Committee originally recommended that the slate of officers for FY20/21 remain the same as the previous year. However, upon review of the by- laws, it was noted that the three trustees had been in those offices for the maximum of three two years. Therefore, Ms. Citro moved that the Board appoint the following officers for FY20/21:

President: Pam Rein

Vice President: Angela Ketteman

Secretary/Treasurer: Lynn Niewohner

Chris Pratt seconded and the motion carried.

The schedule of Quincy Public Library Board of Trustees meeting dates and times was presented to the Board. The Quincy Public Library Board of Trustees will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room of the Quincy Public Library, 526 Jersey Street, Quincy, IL 62301. There being no further discussion, Chris Pratt moved to approve the schedule of public meeting dates and times as presented. Angela Ketteman seconded and the motion carried.

Lynn Niewohner thanked retiring Board Members Kathy Citro, Dwain Preston, and Judy Crocker for their service to the Board. She then presented them with plaques from the Library and a present from her. The trustees thanked the Board for allowing them to serve.

There being no further business, Chris Pratt moved to adjourn the annual meeting. Cheryl Predmore seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
