Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 30.
Do you know of a business or organization with a work environment that embraces and promotes a diverse workforce? One that supports the development of an inclusive culture? One that offers educational opportunities and programs that motivate, encourage and support minorities?
The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2021 Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Award. The Chamber established the Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Award in 2019 to recognize businesses, organizations and schools in Quincy who embrace diversity and inclusion as a fundamental element of their organization. The award is a way to recognize creative and innovative strategies that promote and advance the concept and spirit of diversity and inclusion within their organization. To submit a nomination, click here. Nominations are due Friday, Aug. 7. The winner will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Jan. 20, 2021.
