Blessing Health System issued the following announcement on June 14.
Officials with Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri; Blessing Health System in Quincy; the city of Edina and Knox County, cut the ribbon for a new medical clinic in Edina, Missouri, on Thursday, June 11. Edina Medical Services is in the Jim Sears Building, Suite A, on Highway 6 East. It is a partnership between Scotland County Hospital and Blessing Health System.
Scotland County Hospital providers deliver primary care at Edina Medical Services, Monday through Friday, 8 am-4 pm. The Medical Director of the clinic is Dr. Jeff Davis. Blessing Health System specialists hold patient care clinics at the facility on a rotating basis eliminating the need for area residents to travel to Quincy for specialty health care.
