“Blessing Health System has been successful in the area of provider recruitment over the past several years to meet the health care needs of the communities we serve,” said Maureen Kahn, RN, MHA, MSN, President/Chief Executive Officer, Blessing Health System and Blessing Hospital. “And while the Blessing Health Center 927 Broadway continues to serve us well, we simply needed more room for the providers who are delivering the care the residents of our region need.”
“We did our research and determined new construction was the most efficient and effective way to continue improving the health of our communities,” she concluded.
“Consumers today expect the same level and quality of experience from their health care providers as they enjoy with other businesses,” stated Scott Koelliker, Executive Vice President, Blessing Physician Services. “Much of that experience is based on the human connection between the patient and provider. Statistics we track tell us that BPS providers have more patients reporting they are satisfied with their care than 70 percent of the other medical group practices in the country.”
“Also connected with the consumer experience is physical environment, as it is with hotels, restaurants and stores,” Koelliker continued. “The environment of the Blessing Health Center 4800 Maine is a perfect complement to the people-skills of our providers and staff, and will contribute to an outstanding patient experience.”
As a result of COVID-19, Blessing Health System will host a unique open house in the form of a drive-in video viewing of the Blessing Health Center 4800 Maine at 8:45 pm and again at 9:15 pm, Saturday, May 30, in the Center’s parking lot. Space is limited for each viewing. Social distancing guidelines will be followed as attendees will stay in their cars to view the virtual tour of the new facility, while listening to the video transmitted through a special radio signal. Popcorn will be provided. In the event of rain, make-up date will be Friday, June 5.
