Blessing Health System issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Brown Drug Company and Blessing Health System are pleased to announce that together, they will strengthen pharmaceutical services in our communities. The two local companies will continue their combined 250 years of service to the region through a new partnership. Brown Drug Company will continue to serve customers under the Brown Drug Company name in its current location at 1121 Maine Street, which includes home and mail order deliveries.
“Blessing’s investment in Brown Drug Company will ensure that we can continue to remain locally-owned and operated, while offering expanded services to our customers,” said Bill Cox, one of the business owners. “By working with Blessing, our strengths will be enhanced.”
