Blessing Health System issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
Jackie Edgar, RT(R)(M), Radiologic Technologist registered in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography, Blessing Breast Center, retired November 1 after 40 years of service, all of those years in the field of radiologic technology and the past 20 in mammography.
A graduate of the St. Mary Hospital School of Radiologic Technology, Edgar worked at St. Mary Hospital from 1979, joining Blessing in 1993.
She is a member of the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Edgar is a resident of Camp Point.
