Quincy Community Theatre issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
Theatre fans can get the first look at new shows!
All theatre enthusiasts are invited to Quincy Community Theatre’s 2020 Season Reveal Party where the new season will be revealed. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 17 at Upper Moorman Park from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“This annual gathering is an opportunity to honor and thank our generous QCT volunteers who devote their time and talent to help in all areas of the theatre ranging from acting and stage crew to costumes and stage production to ushering and working in the Box Office,” said Sara Reuschel, Executive Director. “QCT would not be the successful organization it is without their ongoing support.”
This exciting and highly-anticipated evening will include brief department and board updates, volunteer opportunities, a chance to meet new staff, and a first look at the Student Theatre and Main Stage shows for the 2020 Season.
“For those who are new to the theatre, the Season Reveal Party is a chance to get to know our theatre family and learn about what QCT offers, including education, workshops, costume rentals, and a sense of community,” said Brandon Thomsen, Artistic Director. “Be sure to join us on this exciting evening to learn of the new student shows and main stage performances coming to QCT. 2019 has been a season filled with successes onstage and off the stage, and we predict 2020’s line up will be just as thrilling for the organization and our community.”
All ages are welcome to attend and meet an interesting and diverse group of people who share a love of the theatre. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP online and bring a side dish to share.
