Quincy Medical Group issued the following announcement on July 30.

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is pleased to announce the expansion and relocation of oncology and hematology care in Pittsfield. Beginning in November, the QMG oncology team will provide these services at the current Pittsfield Clinic location at 320 N. Madison Street.

Since 2006, the QMG oncologists and team have served patients at Illini Hospital in Pittsfield. The relocation will be an extension of the QMG Cancer Institute expected to open in early 2020 in Quincy providing area patients with a holistic care experience. Services in Pittsfield will include chemotherapy, infusion therapy, and imaging. Patients will also have access to a stat lab, providing them with timely results, optimizing the care provided by QMG’s oncologists. Physicians will continue seeing patients in Pittsfield.

QMG CEO Carol Brockmiller said, “As our work progresses on the QMG Cancer Institute in Quincy, we are excited about this additional opportunity to provide oncology and hematology care in our Pittsfield Clinic.”

QMG oncologists currently providing care at Illini Hospital will continue their care at the new location. Those physicians include Dr. M. Amjad Ali, Dr. Christian Khoury, Dr. Karthik Koduru and Dr. Raymond Smith.

Pittsfield joins the following locations in addition to Quincy where oncology services are provided by QMG: Rushville, IL; Keokuk, IA; Pinckneyville, IL; Memphis, MO; Hannibal, MO and Fort Madison, IA.
