Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 19.
On Wednesday, July 31, you may sign up to host a Business Before or After Hours in 2020. The “early birds” who attended three events this year will be at the Oakley Lindsay Center at noon. **Anyone else who wants to host needs to be at the OLC by 12:30 to choose their dates.
Before signing up to host a Business Before/After Hours in 2020, here are some things to consider:
**The hosting fee for a Business After Hours is $200, and the hosting fee for a Business Before Hours is $100. This is non-refundable, even if there’s a cancellation. The hosting fee is DUE JULY 31, 2019, AT SIGNUP DAY.
* Is your business big enough to hold 40-60 people comfortably?
* Do you have enough parking spaces for 40-60 people?
* Each host provides food and beverages, and at least two prizes.
* If you hosted a BBH/BAH in 2019, you will need to wait a year. This ensures we
are going to different places each year.
As a host, your business/organization will be promoted throughout the year on our one-sheet listing all the events for 2020 and on our website. We will also promote you the week of the event in our weekly e-newsletters and on our Facebook page. Thank you for your desire to host a Business Before/After Hours in 2020! We can’t wait to visit your business/organization!
