JOHN WOOD COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Camp College on July 26

John Wood Community College recently issued the following announcement.

When: Friday, July 26, 2019 at 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM CDT

Where: John Wood Community College and Quincy University

John Wood Community College and Quincy University are partnering to provide high school students an occasion to explore the higher education opportunities available in the local area. The second annual Camp College will be held on Friday, July 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is open to all high school students entering 9th through 12th grades. The event is free and parents are welcome to attend.

Camp College will offer students tours of both JWCC and QU campuses, where they will explore different majors and campus life. Presentations will also be given on the admissions process and financial aid from both schools. Lunch will be provided.

Students and parents will begin the day at JWCC’s Student/Administrative Center at 1301 South 48th street. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the event starts at 9:30 a.m. The group may drive or be bussed to QU at 11:45 a.m. to complete the day’s activities.
