City of Quincy City Council will meet on Monday, April 15.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

PETITION

By the District requesting permission to close Maine St., 4th to 6th, on June 28th from 12 noon to June 30th 6:00 p.m. for the Quincy Art Festival, Food Court, Blues in the District and District Street Concert. A stage will be set up for live music at 5th & Maine St. with the stage facing east. There will be barriers for crowd control, 3 off-duty security officers for security and will have volunteers for cleanup. Barricades needed. They are also requesting to waive Section 111.096 (Consumption and possession of liquor on public street, public alley, public sidewalk or public parking lot) on 6/28 from 5 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; 6/29 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 6/30 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Section 132.01 (Peace Disturbance) from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the above designated areas with proper permits being obtained. They are requesting to close the parking stalls on the north side of Washington Park and half on the East and South sides of the Park Friday, June 28th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and again on June 29th from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for artists to unload and restock their booths. Signs removed by 10:00 a.m. to make room for Q-FEST attendees.

Notice of hearing by the Illinois Commerce Commission on its own motion vs. Ameren Illinois Co. d/b/a Ameren Illinois (Zone I) reconciliation of revenues collected under coal tar riders with prudent costs associated with coal tar cleanup expenditures in the office of the Commission, Springfield, IL on April 17th at 10:00 a.m.

RESOLUTIONS

A resolution approving and authorizing the execution and delivery of an Intergovernmental Agreement for the reconstruction of City Municipal Parking Lot D.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending the change order in the amount of $170,000 be approved and payment be made to Prairie state Plumbing Heating of Athens, IL for the rehabilitation of the Chestnut street pumping station and improvements to the Water Treatment Plant pumping system.

An Ordinance Adopting The Annual Operating Budget For The City Of Quincy, Illinois, For The Fiscal Year Ending April 30, 2020.

A Special Ordinance Authorizing The Ceding Of Private Activity Bonding Authority. (Reallocate to the Western Illinois Economic Development Authority its 2019 private activity volume bonding cap in the amount of $4,231,815 to be used to support projects that will provide job opportunities and new investments.)
