Report: 11.7% of Gem City College students repaying loans are in default

Out of 85 Gem City College students repaying loans in 2015, 10 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the proprietary school in Quincy a default rate of 11.7 percent for that year – 2.1 percentage points lower than in 2014 and 2.5 points lower than in 2013.

Gem City College had 3 fewer students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 5 more than in 2013.
