Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
Do you have an hour each week to devote to leadership training? Would you like to learn more about intellectual horsepower, integrity and trust, and other skills that can help you become a better employee and manager? The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce and The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy are partnering to bring “Leadership Essentials” to the community for one final session, beginning Oct. 29.
The four-week courses, to be held on Monday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m., are based on the Lominger Competencies, developed in 1991 by Michael Lombardo (Director of Research at the Center for Creative Leadership) and Bob Eichinger (Head of Organization Development for Pepsi).
Led by Chamber Executive Director Latonya Brock, each class focuses on a different competency and will encourage attendees to evaluate their level of expertise in that area and to consider ways to improve.
The cost is $75 per session for Chamber members and $150 per session for non-members. The deadline to register for this final session is Oct. 26. To sign up, click here.
