Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Thursday, Sept. 13, was a beautiful day as 144 golfers enjoyed an 18-hole tournament at Westview Golf Course. The Mercantile Fall Classic for the Chamber was once again a success, and the Chamber couldn’t have done it without the financial and volunteer support of the staff of Mercantile Bank. We would also like to thank major sponsors Architechnics, ETC ComputerLand, Media Development, Vervocity Interactive, Hy-Vee at both Broadway and Harrison streets, Adams Fiber, Homefield Energy, Gardner Denver, Refreshment Services Pepsi, Republic Services of Quincy, Auto-Owners Insurance O’Brien Insurance Agent Shelly Steinkamp, and KHQA.
But so many more businesses helped make the tournament a success, whether it was by being a hole sponsor, donating prizes for the contests, donating toward the cost of beverages for our thirsty players, and so much more.
