John Wood Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.
John Wood Community College’s 12-week session is opening doors for students to complete degrees with more flexibility. Transfer students and adults have the opportunity to start general education classes in history, math, nursing, welding, psychology and speech beginning September 17, which is four weeks after the traditional start of the fall semester.
Existing students can also take advantage of the 12-week option to enroll in additional general education classes which filled prior to the August start date.
In addition to the 12-week session, another eight-week online course session will start October 17 as part of the College’s 2x2 program, which allows students to take two classes at a time to complete a degree entirely online. Open learning classes will also be offered in the eight-week format.
To register, contact JWCC admissions at 217.641.4337 or admissions@jwcc.edu. A list of all 12 and 8-week course sessions is available at www.jwcc.edu/fall.
