67 percent of applicants to Quincy University were admitted for fall 2017

At Quincy University, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Quincy enrolled 1,067 students in fall 2017, including 989 in undergraduate and 78 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

56 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 41 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 67 percent of the 1,230 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 28 percent enrolled.
