Cost of college went down for all students at Vatterott College-Quincy

Tuition and fees fell 12 percent for 2017-18 at Vatterott College-Quincy, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $11,007 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year $1,506 less than the $12,513 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 13 students received grants or scholarships totaling $67,331 and 12 students took out student loans totaling more than $101,691.

Including all undergraduates, 112 students used grants or scholarships totaling $570,433. Another 108 took out $937,458 in federal student loans.
