Graduates earn 286 degrees from Quincy University

About 25.5 percent of the 286 degrees and certificates handed out by the Quincy University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Quincy conferred 53 bachelor's degrees and 20 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 38 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 25 bachelor's degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences, General and 21 master's degrees in Education, General.

The university enrolled 1,328 students for 2016-17, including 1,161 in undergraduate programs and 167 in graduate programs.
