Britni Skirvin, administrative director of Ancillary Services, Pharmacy, and Supply Chain at Blessing Health System, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). This status is recognized as the highest standard in professional development for healthcare executives. As of January 1, 2025, fewer than 8,700 healthcare leaders nationwide have achieved this distinction.

To become an ACHE Fellow, candidates must meet several requirements and pass a comprehensive examination. The fellowship also requires ongoing professional development and recertification every three years.

Deborah J. Bowen, president and CEO of ACHE, stated: “The healthcare management field plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to the people in our communities, which makes having a standard of excellence promoted by a professional organization critically important. By becoming an ACHE Fellow and earning the distinction of board certification from ACHE, healthcare leaders demonstrate a commitment to excellence in serving their patients and the community.”

Skirvin has worked at Blessing for ten years. She holds an MBA with a concentration in healthcare administration from Ottawa University and graduated from the Blessing School of Radiologic Technology. In addition to her current role at Blessing Health System, she is nationally certified as a radiology administrator and registered as a radiologic technologist with specialization in radiography and computed tomography.

She also serves on the advisory board for the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute.
