Adams County Board Transportation Committee met Aug. 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The Adams County Board Transportation Committee held the regularly scheduled meeting in the County Board Room at 507 Vermont Street, Quincy, Illinois.

The following members were present:

Les Post

John Brady

Marvin Kerkhoff

Dave Bellis

Others present:

Kent Snider

Gary Farha

Sue Hester

Jim Frankenhoff

Ryan Niekamp

Steve DeMoss

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mr. Post.

Mr. Brady made a motion to approve the July 14, 2020 meeting minutes. Mr. Kerkhoff seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.

The committee reviewed the bills and stamped as checked.

Mr. Frankenhoff provided an update on the resolutions brought to the committee and updated the committee on projects around the County.

Mr. Frankenhoff stated that he would like to move forward with selling some used trucks using Purple wave.

Mr. Brady made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. Mr. Kerkhoff seconded the motion. The committee went into executive session.

Mr. Brady made a motion to go back into regular session. Mr. Kerkhoff seconded the motion. The committee went back into regular session.

Mr. Kerkhoff made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Brady seconded the motion. Mr. Post adjourned the meeting at 6:38 p.m.
